    • Anterior: free
    • Lateral: Petrous ridge of temporal bone (encloses superior petrosal sinus)
    • Posterior: Occipital bone (internal occipital protuberence)
  2. Falx "sickle" cerebelli
    • Anterior: crista galli of ethmoid
    • Superiorly: inner surface of skull to internal occipital protuberence (contains superior saggital sinus)
    • Inferiorly: free (contains inferior saggital sinus)
