Neoplastic viruses

  1. Directly cause neoplasia
    • EBV: Burkitt's lymphoma (8:14), Nasopharyngeal carcinoma
    • HPV: Cervical carcinoma
  2. Predispose to neoplasia
    • Chronic hepatitis: hepatocellular carcinoma
    • AIDS: Lymphoma
