- GA / LA - depending on size of lipoma
- Incision over langer's lines
- Deepen to plane between capsule and surrounding adipose tissue: "squeeze" technique to remove
- Remove lipoma
- Control bleeding points with diathermy + obliterate dead space with absorbable sutures
